At Duisburg Business & Innovation (DBI), we are shaping the economic development of tomorrow – digitally, internationally and sustainably. In our interdisciplinary HUBs, we work on projects such as creating new jobs, establishing a circular economy, supporting start-ups in their growth, connecting businesses and promoting Duisburg internationally. At the Young Talent HUB – our internal programme for developing young talent – you’ll become part of our team tackling future-oriented topics and developing innovative solutions.

Your mission

Whether organising events, providing corporate services or working on project development. Together with your team, you will support the Duisburg Business & Innovation HUBs in implementing projects related to economic development:
You will also help us to set up and implement even more complex projects in a targeted manner. To this end, you will be actively involved in project management, keep track of project milestones, carry out research and initial analyses, and prepare results.
You will be involved in the preparation, delivery and follow-up of internal and external events and event formats.
In doing so, you will learn to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders from the business, academic and political sectors.

Your profile

You are at an advanced stage of your current degree, for example in economics, social sciences, humanities or a similar field.
You have an affinity for technology and can quickly familiarise yourself with different areas of work.
You have good planning and organisational skills and are results-oriented.
You are a talented communicator and express yourself confidently in German and English.
You are proficient in using standard Microsoft Office applications.
As a team player, you are motivated to drive projects forward together with your international colleagues.
